This satellite compass is a very popular and reliable system used throughout the UK & Ireland on boats from 10m-70m in length. The 3 ball antenna is designed to minmise the likihood of seagulls sitting on it which would be a common loss of heading. Seems like a simple thing one less thing to worry about at sea.
